Singing

Singing classes are very popular with all age groups. Our younger pupils are taught correct breathing and how to listen to music and produce the correct pitch – a skill that can be learnt!

Many of our best singers started with us because their parents were suffering as their child was “tone deaf”!

As the children progress they will learn skills such as how to sing in harmony, correct microphone technique, sight reading etc.

Pupils are trained in many different styles of singing – classical to contemporary and will learn how to use their voices correctly without straining or forcing.

Talented pupils are offered the chance to take private tuition and to attend workshops for the opportunity to audition for professional West-end shows and tours.

Many of our pupils and ex-pupils have worked professionally in a vast range of musicals – playing both lead and chorus roles in shows such as “Les Miserables” , “Miss Saigon” , “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, “Whistle Down The Wind”, “Beauty And The Beast”, “Annie”, “Cats”, “Oliver!” etc. etc. etc.
