Ballet

Ballet is the foundation of all dance training. We teach the “Cecchetti” method of classical ballet which is taught at the famous Kirov and Royal Ballet Schools. Our classes are between ¾ hour and 1 ½ hours in length, they are disciplined and structured but still have the emphasis on “fun” as the Cecchetti style is very musical and allows for individuality and freedom of movement within the technical capabilities of each child/student. Children who show an outstanding talent for classical ballet are encouraged to audition for the Royal Ballet School, Cecchetti Scholarships and for other full-time training schools. We are very fortunate to have had many pupils with the exceptional talent needed to gain places at these world-renowned schools and go on to become professional dancers.
