Modern Theatre dance is a “general” term covering many different styles, but all with the same basic technique.

In these classes pupils learn warm-ups , a full range of limbering and stretching exercises, music, rhythm, isolations, to leap, turn, kick and dance and perform intricate steps and movements to all different styles of music – including lyrical /blues / rock and roll / jazz etc..   Exam candidates also have to learn about different muscle groups and how the body works – this often compliments PE and Biology at GCSE and A Level.
